‘Cluster on, cluster off’ is a first exploration in the area of the micro tonal music. Sound and sound changes are processed by specially developed software that uses random aspects and tendency masks for manipulation of the sound. The whole composition consists of one sound built out off eight layers with different timbre contents; together they create the sound as a whole, which can change rapidly or slowly as the piece progresses.
