Gevels Study    -    1998    -    08’23

   Tape solo composition.

A special study for the Opening of the Holland Festival for the Piece ‘Gevels’ from Harry de Wit (10th of June 1998).

The dutch composer - Harry de Wit - asked me to participate in the grand opening of the Holland Festival 1998 at the Leidscheplein at Amsterdam. For this case a made a study for explaining wat is possible with Sound and Computer. All sounds are made with self written software (Sound Manipulator) wich is based on the conception of Phasevocoding. Fourrier Transforms are used to analyze sounds where after several processing is possible. One of the items (Cross Synthesis) is also used to change the sound in realtime at the performance of the 10th of June.
